The “junge vhs” offers an extensive programme for children, families and young adults. At the meeting place children are supervised educationally at the age of 2 to 6 years, whose parents visit integration courses at the vhs. The times are Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00. The group consists of a maximum of 10 children. Children stay in childcare during the period of the integration course, usually 6 to max. 9 months.

They are the trusted reference person and development support for children with a migration background, who are supervised during their parents' visit to integration courses at the vhs. They create their days with creative and educational activities that encourage children in their development and support them emotionally. Their sensitive work with the children of various origins helps them to feel secure and valued and promote their linguistic development. They conduct parent talks in an intercultural context and support parents. Your work is of great importance for families as you allow them to focus on their education and integration while lovingly taking care of their children. Ideally, you have completed training as a state-approved educator*in or as a qualified specialist in accordance with §7 KiTaG Baden-Württemberg.
