We are looking for the next time Senior Consultant (m/w/d) for Internal Medicine / Nephrology The medical team from nephrologists (m/w/d) supervises outpatient and inpatient kidney patients “under one roof”, both at the KfH kidney centre and at the Klinikum Neumarkt. In the KfH kidney center, outpatient patients with chronic kidney diseases are assisted in the predialysis phase, during the required outpatient dialysis treatment as well as in the preparation and care of transplants. The KfH-Nierenzentrum is one of the major centers of North Bavaria with a share of approximately 25% of PD patients! In the Department of Kidney and High Pressure Diseases at the Clinic, the same patient material is supplied stationary under nephrological guidance. This also includes the care of the intensive care unit including the execution of all renal replacement methods, plasma separations, apheresis methods and immunoadsorptions, implantations of atrial catheters by the clinic for nephrology and a high frequency of kidney biopsies. The main areas of hypertensiology and lipidology are available. This sector-wide concept is a special feature and offers a very broad field of activity. Who has fun in nephrology is right with us! The clinic management attaches particular importance to the clinical training of younger colleagues and promotes their development with great commitment. With the newly designed functional range of nephrosonography, equipped with a high-end ultrasound device and expert assistance, we set standards in diagnostic quality. The Klinikum Neumarkt is a main hospital of the utilisation stage II with 485 flatbeds and 31 partially stationary treatment sites as well as the teaching hospital of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg. With more than 2,300 employees in the entire company, we supply in 19 main departments, four organ centres, a regional Stroke Unit, a regional trauma center, the musculoskeletal center, a document department, a daily clinic for pain therapy and, together with several cooperation partners, approximately 22,000 stationary and approximately 47,000 outpatient patients per year. In cooperation with the clinic for newborns, children and young people of the Nuremberg Clinic, we operate a children's station in which ten beds are available for small patients from new and early births to young people. You diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases. You accompany dialysis patients and develop individual therapy plans. You take responsibility for the training and training of our medical staff. You work closely with other departments to ensure a holistic supply. You contribute to the further development of nephrological therapies.

You have a successfully completed study of medicine and the medical certificate for internal medicine with the focus on nephrology. You bring experience in the treatment of patients with kidney diseases and dialysis methods. You are characterized by empathy, communication strength and a patient-oriented manner.
