At the next possible time, we are looking for a dedicated area of expertise

(m/w/d)

The tasks of the new subject include:

• Installation and operation of PCs, notebooks and thin clients (at several stand locations)

• Managing Windows clients via MECM

• Installation and operation of the central & local printer infrastructure

• Help with hard and software problems from end users (controlled by ticket system)

• Support and implementation in the context of large-scale IT projects (e.g. Windows10 / Windows11 conversion, rolling out uniform group policies etc.)

• Technical administration of various technical procedures including the associated server infrastructure

• Processing of demand request (orders, audit etc.)

Your profile

• a completed university or bachelor degree in the field of computer science or Business information

or

• the career capability of the Higher Technical Administrative Service

What we require

• Advanced knowledge from theory and practical application in the environment of Windows clients (MECM, AD, DNS, DHCP)

• Planning and monitoring of budgets

• Experience in leadership of teams

• customer-oriented behavior and professional handling of service providers

• readiness to carry out on-site appointments at the sites that are raised to the subject

• Driving licence class B

Short presentation of the IT service centre

The IT service center is the central IT service provider of the Saarland administration. As part of the digitalisation of public administration, we support the local authorities with competent advice, project management, solutions, and services based on eGovernment services, IT infrastructure, data center management, web programming, as well as specific process applications.
