It secures documents and images from the entire area of the Bank of German Länder and the Deutsche Bundesbank and makes them usable for both internal and external.

You run the Deutsche Bundesbank's Historical Archive with nine highly qualified employees. You are responsible for securing, structuring and developing the analog and electronic documents of the Bundesbank. You work with the Federal Archives and Archives in the European System of Central Banks. With a view to digital transformation, you develop the archive and drive IT projects forward. You represent the archive at conferences, guided tours for high-level and inter­national guests and advise users with special requirements for research and insight into documents.

Master or equivalent degree in archival sciences or history Mind. 2 years of professional experience at the level of the target track in the construction or development of information platforms in the near-economic archive and documentation area Very good German and English language skills In addition, it is desirable: Relevant additional qualification in the field of scientific documentation or information management (e.g. Data and Information Specialist or Scientific Documentary (m/w/d)) Very good knowledge of the evaluation, development and search of analogue and digi­tal stocks and the acquisition of digital documents into long-term security Very good knowledge of the further development and adaptation of software solutions for the archiving of documents (particularly in the Acta Pro development and retrieval system), welcomes the experience of the main occupation Very good knowledge of project management Very good knowledge of building and structure of document management systems Very good knowledge of the relevant legislation (e.g. archive law, data protection, copyright, HGB) Impressed leadership skills, happy to be complemented by leadership experience Strategic thinking and solution-oriented action and forms combined with persuasiveness, Very good German and English communication skills
