Our client is the energy supply Leverkusen GmbH & Co. KG (EVL), which as a cross-connected company in the urban area Leverkusen with around 380 employees approx. 80,000 households with electricity, gas, district heating, drinking water and energy-related services. The technical systems and networks form the backbone of a critical infrastructure with high social relevance.

For this key position, we are looking for an entrepreneurial thinking manager who masters operational safety, technological development and organisational change. No administrator of existing structures is sought, but a personality that secures stability and shapes the future.

Strategic and operational overall responsibility for the technical field of an operator of critical infrastructure Ensuring an economic, safe and sustainable network and plant operation Leadership, development and empowerment of an organisation with more than 200 employees Design of the digital transformation and further development of processes, systems and structures, including in performance management Responsibility for the implementation of regulatory requirements and the further expansion of resilience, risk and security structures (including KRITIS, NIS2, CER) Management of investments, change processes and strategic future topics in direct cooperation with management

Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, energy engineering, supply engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable field of expertise Multiannual leadership experience in an energy supplier, network operator or infrastructure company Knowledge in the operation of critical infrastructures and relevant technical and regulatory frameworks Experience in the digitization of technical processes and the implementation of complex transformation and control projects Strategic strength, entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to make changes effective Authentic leadership personality with high presence, implementation strength and clear design requirements
