Strategy Developer Heat & Generation (m/f/d)

Development of a strategic network expansion planning for the heat sector, including the identification of new project opportunities, the evaluation of market and environment analyses and the derivation of long-term growth strategies. Creation of network and producer scenarios to achieve the strategic corporate objectives and coordination of these plans with the relevant specialist areas. Implementation of comprehensive feasibility studies and technical and economic analyses for the long-term orientation of district heating. Identification of appropriate funding programmes at national and European level, creation and submission of funding applications and management of eligible funding including documentation and reporting. Implementation of simulations to optimize production in the heat network in order to ensure efficient, stable and economical operation of production facilities. Communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders such as authorities, project partners and investors as well as active care of relevant network relationships. Creation of economic assessments such as cash flow calculations, G&V calculations, financing calculations and heat recovery cost analyses Development of business chases with downstream calculatory control and participation in financial statements and economic plan.

A completed master's degree in the field of energy or business is the basis, complemented by well-founded expertise in the district heating environment. Multiannual professional experience (at least 3 years) in the area of district heating and proven project experience. Very good MS Office knowledge, especially in Excel, knowledge of relevant district heating systems and legal requirements; Experiences with EnergyPro, QGIS or Task Management tools are beneficial. Impressed analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as the ability to prepare complex facts in a structured manner and to translate them into long-term strategies. High competence in project management, combined with organizational strength, good time management and a solution-oriented method. Strong communicative skills, team skills and a safe occurrence, complemented by a very good oral and written expressive ability.
