For further professionalization of our purchase we are looking for a dedicated Category Manager (m/w/d) Technical Purchasing – Indirect Spend at the next time. In this position, you assume the strategic responsibility for selected indirect product groups and contribute significantly to ensuring economic, sustainable and efficient procurement.

Development and implementation of product group strategies in the field of Indirect Donation with a focus on technical needs strategic support and further development of product groups such as: technical installations and components; maintenance, repair and equipment (MRO); energy and supply; technical services and services; Capital goods (CAPEX); Facility Management and Infrastructure Services Implementation of market, supplier and cost analyses Identification and realization of savings potentials and optimization of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) independent preparation, implementation and negotiation of tenders and contracts Building, evaluating and developing strategic supplier relationships, supplier management close cooperation with production, technology, maintenance, quality management, IT and other departments Support and advice of internal stakeholders in procurement projects Participation in purchasing projects and the further development of processes, standards and digitization projects

successfully completed commercial training (e.g. industry, wholesale and foreign trade) or technical training, ideally with additional qualification (e.g. specialist in purchasing, business owner) or a comparable qualification multiannual professional experience in strategic purchasing, category management or procurement, ideal in the industrial environment Experience in purchasing technical products, services or capital goods strong analytical skills and a good understanding of technical relationships Negotiations, enforcement and sovereign occurrence structured, independent and solution-oriented operation safe handling of ERP systems (SAP) and common MS Office applications good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
