At the closest possible time, we are looking for support from a Lead Architect Network, Security & Infrastructure (m/w/d) with responsibility for architecture, structuring and planning and control of central infrastructure projects.

You are responsible for the architecture and strategic development of our network and security infrastructure, and are responsible for project, structural and budget responsibility for central infrastructure initiatives. Full-time with 40 hours per week | unlimited | at once

Development and implementation of a holistic security architecture for on-premise and cloud environments, including zero-trust principles, secure network segmentation and IAM, MFA and Conditional Access strategies architectural responsibility for our cross-site network structure as well as design and further development of the Cisco Meraki SD-WAN environment (Auto-VPN, VLAN, Routing and WAN redundancy concepts) Coordination and control of external service providers and implementation partners as well as consulting management and specialist areas in infrastructure decisions Architecture and further development of the FortiGate firewall landscape, including firewall rules, NAT, VPN, IDS/IPS, web filtering and application control concepts as well as DMZ and segmentation design Integration of security-by-design in infrastructure and application projects, implementation of risk analyses and participation in ISO 27001 / IT-Grundschutz Planning, structuring and controlling network and security infrastructure projects, including prioritization, resource planning and budget consideration Ensuring high availability and reliability, governance and security reinforcement of the Meraki dashboard and review of existing network architectures Building and developing secure site-to-site and remote access VPN structures as well as performance and security optimization of existing firewall environments

Multiannual experience in designing and operating complex network and security infrastructures Multiannual experience in planning and implementing infrastructure or security projects Experience in controlling external service providers and project partners Knowledge of network architecture, firewall technologies and IT security Ability to reconcile technical requirements, project objectives and budget frameworks Structured working and experience in the documentation of technical standards and architectural decisions
