You take the duty responsibility for our importing and exporting companies. You control and accompany international import and export processes for packaging materials, machines and spare parts. You tariff complex products, for example composite materials, aseptic cardboard packaging and technical components, and ensure the correct selection of HS codes. You are responsible for compliance with all relevant customs and foreign policy regulations. You check product-specific requirements, such as material compositions or regulatory specialties, with a view to customs classification. You create and verify customs and shipping documents, including export declarations, proof of origin and supplier declarations. You evaluate and use preferential agreements for customs optimization. You monitor import and export processes and continuously develop them. You care and optimierst customs master data in our ERP and customs systems. You are a contact person for customs authorities, audits and audits. You work closely with production, purchasing, sales, quality assurance and other interfaces. You analyze existing processes, minimise risks and ensure a sustainable customs compliance. You contribute to avoiding violations, fines and unnecessary risks for the company.

You have a completed commercial training or study, ideally in the fields of foreign trade, forwarding, logistics, economic law or in a comparable environment. You bring several years of experience in customs, ideally in an international industrial company. You have very good knowledge of customs law, in particular the Union Customs Code, in customs tariffs and in the right of origin. You have a well-founded experience in the tariffing of goods and you are ideally familiar with composite materials, technical equipment or comparable complex products. You have experience with customs systems such as ATLAS and work safely with ERP systems. Experience with an AEO certification (Authorized Economic Operator) is a clear advantage. You bring technical understanding and can safely arrange material compositions and product-specific features. You communicate clearly and sovereignly – internally and externally. You work structured, precise and solution-oriented. You take responsibility, have enforcement and keep a cool head even in challenging situations. You have good English skills in word and writing.
