In this role, you are responsible for the strategic orientation, leadership and continuous development of all planning, control and preparation-relevant functions of production. You shall ensure that all projects are successfully implemented with respect to dates, costs and quality objectives and that the production organisation remains efficient, flexible and sustainable. Professional and Disciplinary Leadership of the Teams Total responsibility for departmental results (termination, quality, costs) Building a performance-oriented, learning and collaborative department culture based on effective preparation and production Continuous improvement (CVP) of preparation processes for efficiency improvement and cost reduction Responsibility for the overall strategic planning (GP) including capacity, resource and scenario planning, as well as for the planning and control of all topics relating to frictionless, efficient production preparation and implementation incl. After-taxation for deviations Planning of the annual, departmental and investment budget, together with a response to its compliance Control of standardized KPIs and monitoring of measures up to the effect Evaluation of new technologies, methods and market trends to increase production performance and their introduction to production Initiation of cost reduction programmes and standardizations Ensuring active chance and risk management in production planning and control Steering of multi-site planning topics, production activities and relocation projects

Completed study in the field of mechanical engineering, production management or comparable Representative leadership skills and proven long-term experience in the successful management of teams and complex technical organizational units Comprehensive occupational practice in a similar management function, ideally in the context of plant construction or related industries Commitment and sovereign appearance with the ability to make decisions clear and convincing and to communicate professionally both in- and externally German and English knowledge in word and writing
