You work at the interface between university management, administration, faculties and external partners and work where the strategic foundations of university development are laid: in the target agreement with the Ministry of State, in the further development of high-school processes and in the promotion of young artistic talent through scholarships.

You accompany the strategic development of the university conceptually and organizationally. You monitor the fulfilment of the target agreement with the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism, coordinate the work of the disciplines and faculties, pursue the implementation of the agreed objectives and are responsible for reporting and compliance with the respective deadlines. As part of the introduction of a new Enterprise Content Management System, You support the revision of existing processes across the boundaries of the participating organisational units. You prepare the decisions of the Rectorate and the Higher Education Committees. This includes the preparation of key figures and data bases, the evaluation of high school policy developments and the preparation of templates, opinions and presentations for the university management. You will also have funding guidelines and tenders for possible third-party funding projects in mind and support university management and teachers in the application. A second focus of your activity is the scholarship of the university. You are responsible for the Deutschlandstipendium, from the acquisition of private funding via the support of the funding bodies to the implementation of the selection process and the management of funds, including the demonstration of the federal government. You support further small scholarships and funding programmes of the university, advise students and teachers on the funding opportunities, develop the funding bases and develop networking with foundations, funding associations and companies in the region.

a completed academic degree (Master or Diploma) or a completed university degree (Bachelor or Diploma (FH)) with relevant professional experience, preferably in the cultural, social, human, economic or administrative sciences, or in a comparable discipline relevant to the activity; proven experience in project or process management, in particular in the analysis and revision of processes. It would be advantageous if you have experience in a university, a scientific institution, a cultural institution or in public administration. Experiences in the acquisition of third-party funds or fundraising as well as good English skills are still desirable. The performance of tasks requires independent, responsible work, pronounced analytical and conceptual skills, negotiation skills and communication and team skills.
