The central area 'Health Safety and Environment' serves the German locations of HENSOLDT AG in the areas of occupational safety, health, environmental, fire and explosion protection. The central HSE area represents the legally required operating officers (such as laser and radiation protection, fire protection officers as well as the waste and water protection officers) and the safety experts. In addition, the HSE area is responsible for central hazardous material management and certifications according to ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001.

Advising management, head of department and areas on occupational safety, environmental and health Support and advice in the safety assessment and assessment of machines, plants and their safety technology Creation of Risk Assessments in SAP Implementation of accident causes analyses and participation in accident prevention and the development of effective corrective and preventive measures Implementation of audits and HSE visits Participation in the local ASA meetings Participation in occupational health management and psychological risk assessments Participation in the integrated management system ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001 Cooperation with the works physicians, the works council, the safety officers and other safety experts in the other locations Contact persons for the supervisory authorities and for professional associations Implementation of targeted training and instruction and awareness-raising measures for occupational safety Executing ergonomics Advices and Workshops for Security Officers Assessment and verification of hazardous substances (checking classifications, creating operating instructions), verification of compliance with legal requirements also in the import and export of hazardous substances Advice on storage, labelling and handling hazardous materials Participation in the implementation of the safety culture Implementation of Awareness campaigns on occupational safety and environmental protection Participation in the implementation of the sustainability strategy and the collection of HSE key figures Travel to other locations in Germany

Complete study of occupational safety, environmental engineering, chemistry or comparable engineering studies Complete training on the specialist for occupational safety Multiannual occupational experience in the field of occupational safety Experience in hazardous material management and sound knowledge of hazardous material law Very good knowledge of the laws, regulations, directives and standards in the fields of work and environmental protection Good office skills (Office 365) Experiences in SAP EHSM Very good knowledge of German and English
