DISCLOSURE: In the electrical power transmission network, it is necessary for the stable operation of the planned power-electronic HGÜ and Statcom systems to monitor the harmonic voltages and currents in the network in order to identify short-term unfavourable sources and initiate countermeasures. Is the model quality sufficiently good and where and how many measuring points should we optimally place in order to be able to calculate the harmonic load flow sufficiently well in the entire network area? In a second step, it is necessary to clarify with which mathematical approaches one can identify and locate the sources for disturbances on the basis of the harmonic load flow.
