PhD Position (m/f/d) Bioinformatics & Spatial Single-Cell Analysis in T-Cell Lymphoma Research Full-time and part-time | temporary (24 months) The laboratories of Prof. Jürgen Ruland and Prof. Fabian Theis at the Technical University of Munich, located at the Center for Translational Cancer Research (TranslaTUM) and the Institute of Computational Biology, Helmholtz Munich, respectively, jointly inviting applications for a PhD student position. The project focuses on bioinformatic, single-cell and spatial transcriptomic analyses to dissect the tumor immune microenvironment in T-cell lymphoma models. The overarching goal is to understand the biology of aggressive T-cell malignancies and to discover new therapeutic through integrative computational and experimental approaches. .

Conduct bioinformatic analyses of single-cell and spatial transcriptomic datasets to characterize the tumor immune microenvironment in T-cell lymphoma models Develop and apply reproducible computational workflows for data integration, analysis statistical, and biological interpretation in close interaction with experimental data Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and contribute to study design, documentation, figures, presentations, and scientific publications

You hold a MSc or equivalent degree with a solid background in bioinformatics, computational biology, systems immunology, or a close related field You are highly motivated to work in an interdisciplinary environment bridging immunology, cancer biology, and data science Experience with single-cell and/or spatial omics data analysis is a plus
