As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. Shared Service Delivery (SSD) is responsible for the service design, service development and provision of all end-user, data centers & cloud infrastructures as well as communication services of the BWI service portfolio. It provides predominantly standardized service solutions for customers. The SSD is an integral part of the CDO and is therefore decisively responsible for the common objectives and measures. Our incentive is maximum operational stability and high customer satisfaction. The SSD PoD2 C&P Cloud Team 1 and Cloud Team 2 departments are responsible for the architecture, development and provision of the private cloud for the customer and provide standardized services.

Installation, configuration, operation and monitoring of complex information systems (ESRI ArcGIS and FOSS GIS) in the pCloudBw

Standardization and automation of administration processes with regard to information security and Zero Touch

Further development of the services due to the rapidly developing requirements of the customer to achieve high usage and customer acceptance

Implementation of operational tasks and implementation of operational stabilisation and optimisation activities

Implementation of IT security, data protection and operation guidelines for the services operated at pCloudBw

Change Requests e.g. as part of updates, upgrades and release changes

Successfully completed subject-related university studies or comparable

About 4 years of relevant professional experience in the operation of extensive GIS IT systems and experience in the participation in more complex IT projects Deep knowledge of GIS systems (ESRI ArcGIS products)

Practical experience in the implementation, control and operation and support of large GIS system landscapes at technical level (Kubernetes, Linux, Windows, Script Programming)

Knowledge of IT Security (BSI Basic Protection, ISO 27001) Experience in automation using DSC and administrative activities of large GIS landscapes (e.g. with ArcPy) desirable Flowing German knowledge in word and writing and very good English knowledge Team-ready and ready to change Communication capability and self-initiative and analytical ability combined with a high customer orientation readiness to travel within Germany
