Together with the Bureau and the Faculties, the Reutlingen International Office (RIO) is responsible for the outstanding international position of the University of Applied Sciences Reutlingen. The RIO with its "Academic Foreign Office", the team "International Programs" and the "Institute for Foreign Languages" has the mission to develop the internationalization of the university in the long term, sustainably and profiled at a high level. The following point shall be placed in the RIO:

• disciplinary and professional management of the RIO department
• Strategic and structural development of the RIO
• Development and implementation of the Internationalization Strategy of the University with the Bureau and the Faculties
• Acquisition, implementation and settlement of relevant third-party funded programmes (e.g. DAAD, Erasmus+, VAT special funds)
• Support for university members on international cooperation and relevant funding and cooperation programmes
• Development of (cooperation) contracts
• Cooperation with regional and international stakeholders to design and implement international programmes

• a completed university degree (State exams, Master, Diploma or Magister), promotion desired
• very good knowledge of German and English (C1 level), good knowledge of another foreign language
• knowledge of international higher education systems
• several years of proven leadership experience
• Professional experience at an international university
• experience with the implementation of projects, with the acquisition and management of third-party funds
• Experiences with change and digitization processes
• Team-oriented, organized and structured, solution-oriented, sovereign appearance

• an interesting, versatile and personalized task
• Interesting and challenging tasks with significant networking possibilities
• Various possibilities of training and qualification
• Pay by TV-L E 14
