Youth aid and crisis intervention e.V. is a small but innovative institution of youth aid. We do not think in rigid concepts, but in individual solutions – where standard offers are not enough. For an 18-year-old young person in Sonneberg, we are looking for a dedicated specialist (social pedagogue/in, medical pedagogue/in, educator/in or curative caregiver) who intensively accompanies him on the way to becoming a self-employed person.

Your tasks

✔ Individual support and support in the transition to self-employment

✔ give structure: regulated daily routine and reliable routines

✔ Promote everyday skills – from budget management to health care

✔ Support for purchases, doctor visits and authorities

✔ Help with independent life planning

✔ Promoting social integration and social participation

✔ Advice on psychosocial issues and personal challenges

✔ Accompany crises sovereignly: prevention and conflict management

✔ Strengthen social skills and self-confidence

✔ Close cooperation with authorities, service providers and other institutions

✔ Documentation of the course of care and regular reflection of progress

★ Completed study of social work/social pedagogy, training as an educator or curative teacher, or a comparable qualification

★ Experience in working with young people, ideally in the field of self-employment

★ Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with young people in challenging situations

★ Patience and Enforcement to Build a Reliable, Trustful Relationship

★ Teamability, loadability and a high degree of independence

★ Flexibility to adapt to the needs of young people

★ Driving class B
