Optimization projects based on OPTANO are waiting for their use with customers and we need your support. As a Modeling Consultant (m/w/d), you solve specific optimization issues of our customers. You are an expert in optimization software, you use it together with our customers and solve questions in strategic and operational consulting. Your tasks are varied and extend over the entire development project: Developing requirements, objectives and procedures in close cooperation with the customers Application of mathematical optimisation models and possible solution methods to provide customers with strategic and operationally fit Expert*in for the OPTANO Analytics products and other optimization software Processing of data to use it for optimization (e.g. with tools such as Knime or Alteryx) Support our sales through your expertise, e.g. by creating acquisition materials and designing customer projects Combine the best of two worlds: As part of the OPTANO team, you work on international projects from our parent company Kearney and support global companies with innovative optimization solutions.

And you need this knowledge: Even if we consider softskills and a good relationship indispensable, a few specialist competencies are necessary to be able to contribute as a modeling consultant (m/w/d): Professional experience in consulting or comparable project work including precise communication of the results obtained A very good university degree in the field of Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics or comparable topics is desirable Good analytical skills Understanding business processes and data-driven decision-making Competence for the incorporation into new facts Very good knowledge of German and English As a modeling consultant (m/w/d), it is sometimes also project-dependent and in agreement the presence of customers on site is necessary.
