With their differentiated offers, the Youth Help Werne reaches around 1,000 children, young people and their families in Werne and the surrounding area. It provides support in housing, day and diagnostic groups, is the contact person for nursing families as well as the carriers of diverse offers of open youth work and offers at schools as well as eleven day care facilities.

We are looking for a*n for the area of Westphalian nursing families (WPF)

Social education as an advisor to nursing families at the next possible time

with 19.5 to 30 hours per week

• Advice and support of care families (WPF and other care family models) and the system of origin of children
• Case responsibility and documentation
• Acquise for new caregivers
• Planning and implementation of training for new caregivers
• Planning and implementation of activities for care families
• Openness for and curiosity for new perspectives and joy in joint development

We wish you...

• a completed study as a social pedagogue with several years of professional experience in child and youth assistance as well as in dealing with family systems and burdened children
• an additional qualification in systemic or family-therapeutic consulting work
• Mobility: Class B driving licence
• an open attitude: acceptance and respect for families, young people, children and the respective systems of origin
• Team skills, consulting skills and resilience
• the willingness to integrate into an existing team, to learn new things and to embark on a new field of work
• a high level of responsibility
• the willingness to participate in working groups and work-related training
• the willingness to cooperate with the support, leadership and team an attitude in the sense of a marginalised approach, a non-violent education and the willingness to continue on this subject
