The Mercedes-Benz Cars Procurement & Supplier Quality (MP) division is responsible for an annual purchase volume in the double-digit billion range as well as the quality of all vehicles. In partnership with around 1,500 suppliers in Germany and abroad, the necessary materials are provided for the worldwide production plants of Mercedes-Benz Cars/Vans. Locations in Germany, South Africa, China, India, Mexico and Argentina ensure close proximity to production. New challenges exist in particular in the areas of autonomous driving, connectivity and alternative drives. The Center MP/I will introduce you: MP/I is responsible for the module purchase, the supplier quality management of components in the interior of all Mercedes-Benz cars and vans as well as for the purchase for AMG in Affalterbach and the purchase for the G-Class in Graz. The hub of South Africa is also part of the center. We bring innovation, design and functionality to our vehicles through development and series awards, secure the quality of the purchased parts and ensure the optimal maturity of the components at our suppliers and international production sites. We control our components from the procurement process to the sampling process and develop international location strategies. Thus we accompany the new generations of our vehicles from the outset and ensure the successful implementation of the innovations and the consistently outstanding quality of our vehicles. The current topics in terms of safety, comfort and sustainability are always the focus of the Center MP/I. These challenges include: Bringing data to life You help us to merge relevant KPIs from different sources, prepare them and turn them into meaningful reports and dashboards.

Building bridges: Through intensive coordination with the departments, make sure that our reports optimally reflect the needs of the stakeholders and provide valuable insights. Visual stories tell you: you design and develop convincing visualizations and presentations that illustrate complex data in a comprehensible and appealing way. Gain deep vision: You help us analyze data to identify trends, patterns and potential optimization fields and thus actively contribute to continuous improvement Become a tool expert: you learn how to use common reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Mercedes-Interne Systems) and bring your ideas to improve our processes efficiency Configuring processes: You actively contribute to the further development and optimization of our data processes and reporting structures Present your results: You will get the opportunity to present your analyses and recommendations before internal stakeholders and to gather valuable feedback The activity can begin from February 2026.
