In the context of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP), the Chamber of Agriculture Schleswig-Holstein – Public Law Agency – is looking for a training and experimental centre for Feedkamp at the next possible time Projektreferenten (m/w/d) für die EIP-Project “DeTail” im Bereich Schweinhaltung with the average regular weekly working hours of a full-time worker. It offers associations and associations in the agricultural sector for the benefit of its members and the political institutions as the basis for decision-making and development processes. Consumer protection, environmental protection and product quality of agricultural products are of particular concern to the Chamber. Their strength is broad expert knowledge. This knowledge is the foundation for the development of holistic, effective and sustainable solutions. The Teaching and Experimental Center for Food Camp (LVZ) with its currently approx. 65 employees are the establishment for animal production and agricultural construction within the Chamber of Agriculture Schleswig-Holstein. The provision of a comprehensive, future-oriented cattle and pig farming, as well as the maintenance of a construction and energy exhibition, allows the numerous tasks to be performed in agricultural education, experimental activities, consultation and public relations. The LVZ is the largest chewing experimental site in Germany. In addition to the production of piglets, the pigeon breeding and the mast are also depicted in feed camp. As part of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP), an early identification system is to be developed by December 2026 against pig biting (Detection of Tail Biting, DeTail). The Chamber of Agriculture Schleswig-Holstein is the lead partner of the project and has been working on the implementation of the project since 2024 with other partners from science and practice. The AI-assisted prototype is currently being tested to detect tail bites in the stables of the LVZ. .
