The focus is on the analysis and evaluation of battery housings for commercial vehicles in order to take into account technical requirements and cost aspects. THE WORK Market analysis: Investigation of current battery housing concepts and their materials and manufacturing methods Requirements analysis: Identification of legal and internal requirements and their impact on housing design Influence analysis: Assessment of requirements and their influence on housing design Material analysis: Comparison of relevant materials and their advantages and disadvantages in meeting the requirements Cost analysis: Qualitative and quantitative assessment of unit cost drivers and derivation of recommendations Tool cost analysis: assessment of tool costs for different concept variants Outlook: Analysis of future concepts such as ''Cell-to-Vehicle' and their potential for the truck sector Close cooperation with the team to develop innovative solutions Creation of reports and presentations to illustrate the results Working on optimizing battery housing technology for commercial vehicles
