IT Support Engineer II, Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) - Fixed Field (m/f/d)

Key job responsibilities Support end user devices and IT infrastructure in your building Help with key network projects, such as the IT facilities for new Amazon buildings Proposals for new processes that improve the use of IT at Amazon logistics centers Training and mentoring of IT specialists

A day in the life You work on site and visit other locations in Germany and possibly internationally several times a month. As an IT Support Engineer, you work with your colleagues: both remotely and in the office and support them with any problems. You use your expertise to ensure the optimal operation of our platforms and implement projects to maintain or improve our IT infrastructure. Sometimes you may also help to design the infrastructure for new buildings and make sure that everything works perfectly when the new terrain is put into operation.

Basic qualifications

• A degree in computer science or another technical field
• Experience in the administration of heterogeneous networks with Microsoft Windows and Linux-based clients and servers
• Experience with network infrastructure, system integration and work with third-party providers
• Advanced English and German knowledge in word and writing
• Valid driving licence Preferred qualifications
• Other industry certifications, such as ITIL, Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Microsoft (MCP, MCSE) or Linux (LPIC-1, LPIC-2)
• Experience with diagnostics and problem solving skills
• Experience with work in a dynamic, customer-oriented environment Experience in dealing with common network and Internet protocols, such as network management, communication and security protocols
• Experiences in IT-Asset management and shopping or with WLAN
