Senior System Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Development of network, server and virtualization concepts for customer projects in compliance with project-specific specifications and national and international standards and standards Configuring IPsec and GRE tunes on Linux systems as well as reliable routing and troubleshooting in complex network tasks Planning, configuration and testing of multicast routings, IGMP snooping settings as well as ensuring a stable video or Data stream transmission Creation and testing of all necessary documentation focusing on network, server and virtualization infrastructure Proactive exploration of new technologies and development of innovative solutions, even if this requires abandoning established paths and the comfort zone

At least ten years of experience in the system housing or industrial environment in the planning, implementation and operation of complex IT infrastructures Knowledge of network and server architectures and virtualization technologies (VMware, QEMU) Deep know-how in dealing with Linux operating systems and common security and tunneling technologies Ability to safely create and test technical documents and to consistently implement standards; strong curiosity to question established boundaries and to walk new paths Embossed team spirit, initiative and joy in translating complex requirements into clear, implementable solutions
