Management of risk management: You are the central operator for operational and compliance risk management and supports management as well as departments in identifying, evaluating, controlling and monitoring risks Advising the areas of expertise: You advise managers and process managers on risk, compliance and governance issues and support regulatory and internal requirements Conducting Risk Analysis: Conduct Risk Analysis, Risk & Control Self Assessments and Process and Project Risk Analysis and Take appropriate action Monitoring risks and controls: You monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), control measures and implementation of improvement measures to ensure effective risk management Governance and Reporting: You’ll start risk reports, support decision-making processes and actively contribute risk and compliance issues to management bodies Incident and improvement management: You coordinate the management of incidents, follow actions and advance the continuous development of processes and control systems Promoting risk culture: You strengthen risk awareness within the organization through training, coaching and close cooperation with internal and international stakeholders

Qualification: You have completed university studies in economics, economics, legal sciences or comparable disciplines, ideally focusing on risk management, compliance, governance, finance or insurance, or on a comparable qualification Professional experience: You bring multi-year experience in risk management, compliance, audit or a comparable function Competence: You have well-founded knowledge in operational risk management as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, money laundering prevention, sanction law and DORA) Analytical thinking: You work structured, analytically and have a pronounced risk awareness Communication strength: You convince by a safe occurrence, enforcement ability and address-oriented communication at all levels Personality: You work independently, integrity and across-the-range and understand how to win people for changes International cooperation: Your main workstation is Düsseldorf; You work closely with the Risk & Compliance Business partners as well as the experts for Operational & Compliance Risk Management and Financial & Economic Crime in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium; for international cooperation you are regularly in Eindhoven and Antwerp on site Own initiative and team spirit: You are proactive, take responsibility and motivate others through your committed and binding nature Values and languages: For one another, respect and cooperation are self-evident; You bring knowledge of German and English in word and writing, and Dutch skills are of advantage
