Senior Big Data Engineer (m/f/d)

You develop big data strategies and implement them with our customers, in particular you implement batch and streaming processes within the framework of modern data management architectures such as Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse and Data Fabric You're working on best practices for using big data technologies In addition, you take responsibility for quality and project success (e.g. by controlling subprojects or projects by agile and classic methods) You take the role as a competent partner*in for modern data architectures The further development and optimization of our Big Data Expertise and our consulting portfolio is also one of your tasks You actively use our DigiLabs to develop creative ideas with the most modern technologies Advice means flexibility: Your project work depends on our customers and your project situation – you work throughout Germany in our offices, on-site customers and at home

You have a completed study of (economic) computer science, mathematics, natural science, technology (MINT) or comparable training You have knowledge of the technology stack for data management, data input, acquisition, processing and curation such as Kafka, Postgres, Oracle or Spark Ideally, you have gained first experiences in big data projects and have experiences in workflow orchestration such as Apache Airflow, Luigi or Prefect You have practical experience in cloud computing in Azure, AWS or GCP You have extensive programming experience in at least one of these languages: Python, Java, Scala Good knowledge of German (ab B2 level) and knowledge of English complete your profile
