Number: MER000444M The PP/KT department in the Center Planning Bodywork Production is responsible for the new type planning of the components needed for the production of a body in the bodywork. This includes both internal press works (including Bremen, Sindelfingen and Kuppenheim) as well as other sizes. Among other things, steel and aluminum sheet parts, hot-formed high-strength steel components and complex assemblies are planned. The planning is carried out worldwide for all Mercedes-Benz construction plants. In addition to classical planning, a growing focus is on data-driven networking of information within production planning and the further development of digital solutions. Your tasks: Support in building and developing solutions to automate material availability assessment for worldwide production volumes Networking and structuring of data from different sources within production planning Development and maintenance of dashboards and data visualizations (e.g. with Power BI) Analysis and processing of large amounts of data for deriving relevant indicators Cooperation in the development of data-based decision bases for production planning Support in standardisation and harmonisation of processes Objective of activity: The aim of your activity is to create transparency about the world's material availability and efficiently map it through suitable data models and automation solutions. The focus is on independent analysis and visualization solutions without direct linking to existing internal systems The activity can begin from August 2026.

Your profile: Studies in Business Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering or Similar

Good knowledge of Power BI or comparable BI tools

Basic knowledge of common programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL)

Experience in handling databases and data structures

Safe handling of MS Office

Very good knowledge of German and English

Analytical, Structured and Independent Operation

Team skills and initiative
