You're looking for a responsible job where you can use your social education skills?

In one of our social-therapeutic housing groups, you accompany adult people with mental disabilities in everyday life, support them in the development of everyday competencies and care for structure, security and appreciation. You are part of the multi-professional team, you plan pedagogical measures and support the residents: in the case of challenging behaviour – always with patience, empathy and professional know-how.

In the group there are five adult people with mental disabilities who need special attention, structure and safety in their daily lives. Our goal is to create a stable environment in which our inhabitants feel: understood, accepted and supported. The team accompanies the inhabitants: during the day between 6:30 and 21:00 with expertise, patience and heart.

Your tasks:

• Comprehensive assistance and accompaniment of our residents: indoors in everyday life
• Support in dealing with mental vulnerabilities
• Safe action in crisis situations and deescaling behaviour
• Basic care activities as required
• Documentation of educational and nursing measures

Your profile:

• Complete study of social work or social education or a comparable course of study
• Pleasure of work in group service and direct support of people with disabilities
• Self-employed, responsible and flexible working methods
• empathy, patience and appreciation in dealing with our residents:
• readiness to exchange and weekend services
• Class B licence desirable
