Management of the Competence Center Solidarity Foundation (m/f/d)

The Caritasverband der Diözese Rottenburg-Stuttgart e.V. is one of the largest welfare associations in Baden-Württemberg. He represents around 1,800 Catholic institutions and services and is engaged in social and nursing offers for a solidarity and diverse living together. With eight Caritas regions and around 1,650 employees, the association actively organises social work regionally and nationwide. The Diocesan office in Stuttgart will now strengthen its team with a permanent (m/d) for the Center of Excellence Solidarity Foundation. With us you are flexible, you can choose your scope of employment from 80% to 100%. The Competence Center for Solidarity Foundation bundles themes of engagement policy, honorary office, fundraising, Civil society, funding consulting and corporate social responsibility (CSR). In this responsible management function, you are directly assigned to the Executive Board and make a significant contribution to the strategic development of the work field.

On the basis of the association goals “Caritasarbeit is Democracy Work” and “The Future of Daseinssorge” You develop a pioneering strategy for strengthening solidarity and social cohesion and implement it successfully. You are shaping the work of the Caritas Stiftung Lebenswerk Zukunft and the Initiative Mach Dich Stark responsibly and actively. You combine (solidarity-making) positions and network with various actors within and outside the Caritas. You strengthen the internal work, communication and network structures and accompany their further development, in particular with regard to digital transformation. You lead the Centre of Competence in professional, human and financial terms and develop its profile on a future-oriented basis.

You have a completed, relevant study or a comparable qualification. You have competences and experiences in civil society networking, in the right to use and in foundation management. You possess sound knowledge of the social economy and its framework conditions. You have sound management and leadership experience as well as a high level of solution and decision-making competence. You have the pleasure of joining networks and long-term cooperation relationships. You have strong team skills and are happy to work in competence-based and interdisciplinary contexts. You are willing to contribute to the objectives of the Caritas and to cooperate with them. Membership in a Christian church (see www.ack-bw.de) is required.
