We are looking for you to strengthen our growing Transaction Advisory Services team at the Cologne site! As part of our Transaction Advisory Services team at the Cologne site, you conduct both versatile financial due diligence tests and complex corporate reviews. The special thing with us, you will try out as a consultant in both subareas to then set your individual focus according to your interests: As part of the FDD, you conduct detailed balance sheet, GuV and cash flow analyses and work deep into working capital and Net Debt to identify the financial performance, development and risks of companies. In order to evaluate companies, you will create financial models according to various valuation methods, guide Peer Groups and capital costs and explore the corresponding business plans and forecasts of the target companies. Financial market and competitive research by Bloomberg on interest and inflation developments are also among the tasks. You gain a wide range of insights into challenging consulting projects across different industries, including in the international context - from established medium-sized companies in Germany and abroad to private equity companies, family offices and banks.

You have successfully completed your Master's degree program with studies in finance, assessment, accounting or controlling. In addition to knowledge of the content of the financial statements (Bilanz, GuV, Cashflow) and basics of the relevant valuation methods, you will bring basic knowledge of the accounting according to HGB and IFRS. You are application-proof in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint, and have very good German and English skills. Ideally, you could also gain first professional experience, e.g. in the form of an internship in the areas of auditing, M&A, valuation, consulting and controlling.
