Load Balancer / F5 System Engineer, Linux Specialist (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the operation and continuous development of F5 BIG-IP with ASM / Advanced WAF, APM and LTM. The administration of WAF and Access policies as well as the configuration of SSO and SSL/TLS are also part of your task. You are using modern authentication and authorization methods such as Kerberos, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 and SAML 2.0. You can also secure the connection of Active Directory / LDAP and implement roll and permission concepts. You analyze and eliminate disturbances, perform security analyses and manage releases, updates and patches. Last but not least, you support the operating system and application managers.

You bring multi-year experience in handling F5 BIG-IP, especially with ASM / Advanced WAF, APM and LTM. You have well-founded knowledge in Kerberos, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, JWT and LDAP. Good knowledge of SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, DNS, Reverse Proxies and Linux are the key to you. You have experience in operating high-available platforms as well as in security and log management. Ideally, you will bring knowledge of iRules, the iControl REST API, Ansible and Docker and Kubernetes. Security or network certifications, for example F5-CA, F5-CTS or CCNA/CCNP, are also desirable. You are willing to regularly participate in the readiness to call. Personally, you are convinced by your analytical, independent and solution-oriented way of working as well as your distinct security awareness.
