Tasks Your tasks You are responsible for operating the SOC (24/7) and ensure stability, availability and quality You run the SOC team professionally and disciplinefully You prioritise incidents and tasks in daily business and make binding decisions You evaluate security events and incidents professionally and take action You make sure that requirements from client work are structured and converted into operation (together with Service Manager and SOC-Admin) You are a central contact for clients in operational topics and escalations You tax voting between clients, service manager and technical management You ensure consistent quality of analyses, reactions and documentation You recognize operational bottlenecks and continuously develop processes, processes and standards If necessary, you will take the operational leadership in critical positions and co-ordinarily involved parties

Qualifications That's what you bring Multiannual experience in the operation of SOCs, managed services or comparable 24/7 environments Detegratable leadership experience in operational teams Knowledge of IT/Cybersecurity (networks, logs, attack patterns) Ability to evaluate security events and incidents professionally Decision strength and structuring ability under time pressure Impressed communication capability at technical and management level Experience in dealing with different stakeholders and in clarifying target conflicts Structured, independent operation Very good German knowledge and good English skills This is your advantage Experience with SIEM, Incident Handling or Detection Engineering Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. NIS2, KRITIS, ISO 27001) Industry knowledge in water management, energy or comparable infrastructure Experience in the scaling of operational processes and in the construction of shifts Especially suitable for you when you come from a SOC, Managed Service or Incident Response environment you take leadership, make decisions and take responsibility you are structured and quiet in dynamic, safety-critical environments
