The Platforms for Vehicle Software Engineering (ITD/OE) department makes an important contribution to our MB.OS Business partners, through the creation of customer-oriented software products with first-class software engineering based on the main pillars Architecture & Software Engineering and Data Driven Development. Our team Architecture & Software-Engineering provides solutions in the areas of AI-Assisted Coding, Developer & AI Tooling, IAM solutions and issues in the security context. In order to successfully process these major topics, we focus on close cooperation with our internal and external partners as a key to success. It is important to us to deal constructively and honestly with each other. In our daily work, we are dealing with new technologies in the context of software engineering and working with international partners. These challenges include: Further development – implementation of new UI components in the front end as well as extension of the backend interfaces and database connection, supported by coding agents

CI/CD & Containerization – Maintenance of the containerized development environment and support in building automated build and deployment pipelines

Quality Assurance & Security – Identification and Fixing Vulnerabilities, Write Tests and Code Reviews – Active Use of AI Agents for Code Analysis and Error Detection

Explore & Applying Agentic Development – Evaluation and productive use of AI-Coding agents in everyday development, developing best practices for prompt-based development and documentation of experiences for the department

The activity can begin from June 2026.

Advanced Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in (economic) informatics, information technology, software technology, mathematics, etc.

Embossed programming, research and writing skills

Enthusiasm for Artificial Intelligence and initial experience with AI-based software development

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working
