In our network control center, you and your team will ensure that our power grid remains safe, stable and sustainable. With technical know-how, a clear head and the view for the whole, you create the conditions for a reliable supply and advance the energy transition.

Security of supply: As a support for real-time operational management in the Strom network control centre, you will ensure optimal framework conditions and secure network operation shutdown planning: The coordination and organization of the shutdown planning is in your hands. Together with your colleagues, you make sure that switching applications from the network regions are tested in time. Real-time operation: Through close cooperation with the team of real-time management, you keep the operating action in mind and, if necessary, also support the switching service Trouble detection: As a professional contact person about the fault detection and the relevant IT systems, you bring your knowledge and support in professional issues Crisis management: Even if it's important, keep an overview. In the crisis and emergency team, you actively participate and develop emergency plans for a coordinated operation Process optimization: To harmonise cross-species workflows, you develop independent solutions and develop processes efficiently and forward-looking Digitization: When introducing and adapting IT applications, you will introduce your professional perspective and ensure that digital solutions support the operational network operation as much as possible Project work: EWE NETZ’s network management represents you in projects and actively promotes relevant topics together with other disciplines. Energy Transition: With your work, you support the integration of regenerative generation systems and thus directly contribute to the transformation of our energy supply Network operation: Together with your team, you are a specialist contact person for issues related to the operating grid operation

Qualification: A completed training to master or technician (w/d/m) in the electrotechnical field provides a good basis for your activity Network understanding: Technical connections in the power grid can be understood quickly and can safely arrange effects on the operating network operation IT-Affinity: New IT applications and digital processes awaken your interest, and you like to work in new systems and applications Responsibility: Health and safety at work have a high priority for you.
