Team Leader Sales – Rail Logistics & Tank Transports (m/f/d)

You take over the technical and disciplinary leadership of a small, experienced team in sales and customer management Together with your team, you set sales targets and ensure their consistent implementation You develop existing customer relationships strategically and identify new business potentials You coordinate the processing of important customers, tenders, projects and sales opportunities You ensure efficient cooperation between sales, customer support, operations and internal departments You support your team in complex customer requests, negotiations and the development of individual transport solutions You keep in mind sales, costs, margins and business development and, if necessary, conduct appropriate measures You analyze relevant key figures and create forecasts, management reports and sales analyses You accompany the continuous optimization of processes and structures within your area of responsibility You ensure that internal guidelines as well as quality, safety and compliance standards are complied with You represent the business area professionally to customers and business partners You work closely with the sales management and report directly to these

You have a commercial training or a completed study, ideally related to business, logistics or transport You bring several years of professional experience from the logistics, forwarding, transport or railway industry You know the peculiarities of international transport chains and have a good understanding of rail freight transport Contact points with tank logistics, liquid goods, mineral oil products or dangerous goods transport are advantageous You have already taken responsibility for employees and understand yourself as a motivating and value-awarding manager You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality You work structured, independent and solution-oriented and keep an overview even with high utilization You have a strong understanding of economic relationships and key figures The professional handling of customers and business partners is easy for you You are safe to use the current MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint You communicate very safely in German and English; further European language skills are a plus You bring negotiation skills, enforcement ability and joy in cooperation with different contact persons with
