We are responsible for the applications used in the programming and network planning of the BMW Group's component manufacturers. In this function we support the departments in their daily workflow. We are currently developing the required system landscape completely new in order to be able to react flexibly to the requirements of the increasingly complex processes.

What do you expect? You are responsible for the applications that provide the programming and network planning integratively and across processes. This includes the requirement recording, design, implementation and operation of applications together with the agile DevOps feature teams of our external partners. Key applications are standard applications, such as SAP DP and Dassault Quintiq MPS, which have been specifically expanded for BMW. The development and operation of IT solutions in the agile feature team in close cooperation with the relevant users and interface partners and the use of modern DevOps methods such as automated testing and continuous integration and deployment complete your activity profile. In the team, you will advise our specialist department partners about the program and network planning needed for the BMW component manufacturers. By defining new processes and technical standards, your work in the Feature Team has a distinct influence on our areas of expertise. You make sure that the different requirements from the disciplines lead to a consistent IT target building. Furthermore, you take into account the requirements of IT governance and provide a functioning overall system at any time.

What are you doing? Completion of computer science, business information technology or comparable. At least 5-10 years of professional experience in the described environment. Experience in the design and development of IT solutions and/or process consulting, especially for programming and network planning. Found experience in agile software development, including test backup and application operation. Process knowledge in the field of programming and network planning. Knowledge in a programming language (e.g. ABAP etc.) is advantageous. Ideally, knowledge in one of the following applications: SAP DP or Dassault Quintiq MPS as well as knowledge in interface technologies (e.g. KAFKA, IDoc) and cloud architectures (e.g. Azure) are desirable.
