With an over 100-member team in Kiel and Hamburg, we are building a global footwear brand and are developing a finance organization that sustains this growth in the long term. This is where you come into play: As Senior Accounting Manager (m/w/d), you make sure that our numbers are accurate, resilient and relevant to decisions at any time. You combine operational excellence with the goal of continuously improving processes and systems. With us you are not only part of accounting – you create the basis for sound business decisions.

Your tasks

You are responsible for preparing financial accounting and ensuring that all documents and business incidents are structured, tested and cleanly prepared You monitor input and output bills, pflegst open-post lists and perform regular account adjustments You actively participate in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and, together with the tax advice, ensure correct and timely implementation You're creating reports, target-actual comparisons and analyses for the Head of Finance You opt for our systems and interfaces (e.g. between shop, payment, ERP and accounting) for maximum efficiency and data quality You work closely with controlling, data and external partners such as tax advisors, auditors and banks You identify inefficiencies and drive the automation and further development of our finance processes actively You ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and accounting standards

You have a completed degree in the field of BWL, Finance, Accounting or a comparable qualification or a commercial training with further education on the account book holder (IHK) You bring 3–5 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a fast-growing or dynamic environment You have very good HGB skills and well-founded experience in financial accounting, auditing, accounting and preparation of financial statements You have experience in working with tax advisors, banks and other external partners You understand financial reporting, business evaluations and target-actual comparisons and can derive clear insights from them You can safely use ERP and accounting systems as well as MS Excel You work structured, independent and detailed, but never lose sight of the whole You are strong in communication, team-ready and move safely in exchange with different stakeholders You have very good knowledge of German and very good knowledge of English (Pflicht)
