Underwriter - Inland Navigation / Marine Insurance (m/f/d)

You take full responsibility for your portfolio in the field of commercial inland navigation insurance – from qualified underwriting to final pricing decision. As a central contact person for our sales partners and distributors, you actively participate in the sales process and drive the development of new business. You continuously analyse the market and competition, derive strategic recommendations and share your findings proactively in the team. You bring your expertise into the further development of our insurance products and take over the conception and implementation of specialist training for intermediaries.

You have completed a commercial training, ideally related to insurance or shipping, or a comparable study. You bring at least five years of professional experience in underwriting or risk placement, preferably in the context of inland navigation. Their work is independent and structured, and you convince with the strength of communication and the skill of negotiation. In dealing with MS Office, you are versed and open to new digital tools. You communicate safely in German (C1) and have good English skills.
