Customs and Import Management Officer / Buyer with Customs Experience (m/f/d)

Own commissioning and monitoring of import duty of third country consignments Maintenance and management of regular customs data and collection and management of binding tariff information Requirements, testing and maintenance of long-term supplier declarations and other proofs of origin and preferences Monitoring regulatory requirements in import Control and coordination of forwarding and KEP service providers incl. Pick-up, selection, tracking of shipments, time monitoring and audit Implementation and evaluation of annual supplier and service provider reviews Optional: Disposition and operational procurement for assigned national and international suppliers including appointment, order processing and price negotiations Collection, testing and maintenance of supplier-related contracts, quality assurance agreements and regulatory documents Participation in the development and documentation of purchasing and logistics processes taking into account regulatory requirements (e.g. MDR)

Completed commercial training or studies (e.g. foreign trade, logistics, supply chain, business management) Multiannual professional experience in customs, import or foreign trade Knowledge of customs legislation (import), customs tariffs, origin & preferences Experience in cooperation with forwarding and customs agents Experiences in purchasing from production plants of advantage Basic knowledge of external economic law and ideally MDR Secure handling of ERP systems and MS Office Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
