They are responsible for the operation and further development of IT networks and security components in our georedundant data centers and thus ensure a stable and future-proof foundation for our IT systems, which also works in the event of a crisis. They strengthen our experienced team in IT administration and analyze technical requirements – for example in projects – that you translate into individual components and then coordinate implementation in close cooperation with the team, internal customers, manufacturers and service providers. They are in the team responsible for the administration of the network security environment, including the creation, updating and maintenance of the documentation. They optimize and automate network-related processes and respect uniform standards. Use scripts and automation tools to get to the target effectively and quickly. They analyze and troubleshoot disturbances in cooperation with other IT departments and provide sustainable solutions together. They ensure the availability and quality of IT systems, support first and second level support and participate in a changing, additionally remunerated readiness.

You have been able to gain several years of experience in network administration and the further development of corporate networks after your IT degree or specialist training. You know tools and procedures for network automation, have applied them in the company context and can further develop relevant automation. You are familiar with complex network concepts as well as IT security and are interested in developing yourself and your knowledge. ZTNA, BGP, PPEN and VXLAN are known to you and you know where and how to use them. They are interested in the technical implementation of new concepts and ideas and are happy to develop IT infrastructure continuously. You will strive for elegant and simple solutions. They are characterized by an independent, structured and analytical way of working, commitment, teamwork, helpfulness and readiness to learn – and if it is important, you can pragmatically respond to different challenges.
