Technical Clerk Contract & Claim Management (m/f/d)

As a technical specialist in contract and follow-up management, you take responsibility for the examination, evaluation and follow-up of contractual obligations and for the identification and enforcement of claims. Your tasks include: Examination and assessment of construction contracts, subcontractor contracts, performance directories and other contractually relevant documents (e.g. VOB/B, BGB) Processing and control of subordinates and claims including evaluation, preparation and coordination with the project teams Preparing and supporting negotiations with contracting entities, subcontractors and other project participants Documentation & reporting Creation, maintenance and management of project-related contract and claim documentation as well as regular status reports Coordination with internal and external stakeholders: cooperation with project management, engineering, finance and external partners to ensure the fulfilment of the contract Analysis of project changes, additional costs and delays in terms of time, quality and cost impact, and deriving appropriate countermeasures Risk Management Support Identification of potential risks in ongoing projects and development of appropriate countermeasures

Education: Completed studies or training in the field of construction (economics, economics, technology, management), economy, engineering, or a comparable qualification Professional practice: experience with work in projects, ideally in the field of construction or infrastructure; Experience in Contract and Claim Management is desirable Industry knowledge: knowledge of contract types, contract design and legal framework conditions in the construction industry Working methods: structured and independent working methods and an analytical approach Mindset: Hands-on mentality, sense of responsibility and care Communication talent: team and collaborative skills as well as strong communicative skills in order to act skillfully in negotiations. skills: safe handling of MS Office, experience with project management and claim management software; very good German knowledge (written and oral), English skills are a plus
