You accompany young people with complex mental illnesses, traumatic experiences and high psychosocial strains and support them on their way to more stability and self-employment. In doing so, you combine psychological individual and group offers with your presence in the group everyday. You provide low-swelling access to psychological support, accompany young people in stressful situations and promote their self-effectiveness and the development of individual management strategies. At the same time, you actively contribute your professional perspective to the pedagogical work: you advise the educational team, work on case meetings and help plan processes and work closely with internal and external departments. Graduate of Psychology (Diplom or Master) Ideally professional experience in child and youth assistance, child and youth psychiatry or a comparable field of work Experience in the accompaniment of young people with mental illnesses, traumatic experiences or high psychosocial stress Knowledge of psychological advice, discussion and crisis intervention Experience in the implementation of individual and group offers Sensitivity, resilience and professional handling of emotionally highly stressed young people Self-sponsored and responsible functioning as well as strong communication and team skills High reflectivity and professional approach to proximity and distance The membership of a Christian church, which belongs to the working group of Christian Churches (ACK) in Germany, is desirable.
