Since its founding in 2001, AWIGO has become an environmental service provider for the Osnabrücker Land. Specifically, this means that we are specialists around the topics of valuables, recycling, recovery and sustainability. However, our tasks continue to grow and our demands also grow. And for this we always need new fellow fighters, which our 400-member team now complements and, together with us, tackle important topics about our environment and create solutions.

Then this task could fit perfectly with you. To strengthen our team of corporate communications, we are looking for a full-time employee (m/w/d) environmental education at 01.10.2026. At AWIGO you not only shape environmental education from the desk – you bring sustainable topics directly into schools, kitas and educational institutions in the region. With your own ideas, exciting formats and real enthusiasm, you can experience environmental and resource protection for children, young people and adults.

You plan, organize and conduct environmental education for schools, kitas and other educational institutions in the district of Osnabrück You inspire children, young people and young adults for sustainable action as well as for topics related to environmental and resource protection You develop existing educational opportunities and bring your own creative ideas and new formats together You design targeted workshops, actions, projects and information offers You work independently, organize your appointments flexibly and are predominantly on the go You encourage exchanges with schools, kitas, educational partners and other regional actors You support the sustainable development of environmental education in the district of Osnabrück

Ideally, you have experiences in the field of environmental education, pedagogy, educational work or event work We also welcome motivated cross-comers with educational skills and enthusiasm for sustainability You have a class B licence You are happy to work with people and to convey content in a comprehensible, lively and inspiring way You appear open, communicative and safe from groups You work independently, organize and bring a hands-on mentality You want to introduce new ideas and actively shape projects Wages: 40.000 to 50,000 euros per year Together with you, we want to inspire people in the district of Osnabrück for sustainable action and make environmental education modern, practical and lively.
