Service Technician Electronics / Mechatronics in the Field (m/w/d)

For decades, as a leading system house for marine electronics, we have been supporting marines around the world to make the lake safer. We offer a wide range of services to our customers, including Sonars and Sensors, Guide Systems for submarines and overwater ships, mine defence systems, unmanned underwater vehicles and radio and communication systems.

They perform the installation and initial operation as well as the subsequent annual calibration of electronic test stations including DGUV tests at our house and worldwide with our customers. If necessary, you will run troubleshooting and perform necessary repair work on the devices. They support our project managers and customers in preparing and posting exercise and acceptance campaigns and accompanying them on board submarines or frigates if necessary. In doing so, you practice dealing with the warhead and detonator of torpedos according to §20 SprengG. They train our customers in operation, maintenance and repair of our underwater vehicles. They carry out courier transports for classified information.

You can present a completed study or qualified training in electrical engineering or mechatronics. You can also present several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field. Their essence is characterized by a representative, safe and tolerant appearance towards customers of different nationalities, as well as readiness to use and flexibility. Their mode of operation is structured, analytical and independent. They have very good English knowledge in word and writing. They bring the willingness to travel worldwide or longer stays abroad. You have no health restrictions that prevent travel in tropical countries or exits on ships and submarines. They have a class B car driver license, and a class CE driver license is also advantageous.
