At the Leipzig site we are looking for an electronic developer hardware (m/f/d).

The office owner is responsible for the needs- and quality-oriented development and support of electronic and electrical assemblies and equipment in the Trace business unit for outdoor use.

Development of analogue and digital circuits with Altium Maintenance of component libraries Creation of the PCB production data (piece list, Gerber data, etc.) and technical clarification with the respective PCB manufacturer commissioning and testing of assemblies and production of corresponding specifications Preparation and Monitoring of Device Certifications (CE, MIL) Calculation, simulation and heat management of electronic circuits Design and preparation of evaluation and test setups Processing of product changes and component terminations Assessment of the effort of development tasks and assessment of development requirements for project evaluation

Technical qualifications Complete engineering studies in electrical engineering or a comparable direction or extensive professional practice in this field Insufficient practice in the field of analog and digital circuit development and layout creation with Altium Knowledge of how to use current CAD development and simulation tools, such as ALTIUM Designer, Spice, VHDL, Labview, Matlab Experience in EMC-compliant PCB design Good understanding of physical processes in spectroscopy and sensor technology Safe handling of electronic measuring technology Safe handling of common PC software in the office area and SAP Good knowledge of German and English
