As a manager of the specialist service, you connect social pedagogical advice, network work, project management and representation of interests. You advise deaf-blind and hearing-impaired people as well as their relatives on existing support and participation offers and accompany them, for example, when applying for integration aid. You help those affected to strengthen their self-employment and self-help potential and to take advantage of their individual opportunities for social participation. You continue to build networks and maintain cooperation with institutions, advisory bodies, authorities, associations and other relevant institutions in Bavaria. You develop the assistance network of the specialist service and accompany the existing contacts. You develop and organize educational and leisure activities aimed at the needs of deaf-blind and audible people. You take over public relations and are committed to making the concerns and needs of deaf-blind and hearing impaired people more visible in society. You represent the interests of the target group vis-à-vis politics, administration and society and help to reduce existing barriers. You carry out organisational and coordinating tasks and actively contribute to the further development of the specialist service.

A completed university degree, such as social education, PIR or a comparable qualification Ideally experience in the area of disability, especially in the area of sensory disability Organizational design and a structured, independent working Experience in project management Pleasure of advice, network work and independent work The willingness to work quickly and actively on new technical topics Knowledge of the German Sign Language (DGS) are very welcome Willingness to create flexible working hours with occasional weekends Standing for regular outside services in all Bavarian districts – about two to four dates per month A driving licence is advantageous
