We are looking for an experienced and committed management personality for the Senior Manager Health & Safety Europe (m/w/d) position at the Gersthofen site for Europe-wide control of our strategic Health & Safety goals.

What awaits you

• responsibility for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our H&S; Strategy at European level
• Professional leadership and advice of local Health & Safety Managers in European locations
• ensuring uniform implementation and compliance with all H&S; Standards
• Implementation of risk analyses, audits, inspections and causes analyses
• Development and promotion of positive and sustainable safety culture through targeted initiatives
• Monitoring and reporting of relevant H&S indicators; and deriving improvement measures
• Planning and implementation of training and awareness campaigns
• Introduction of innovative H&S; Concepts to comply with safety standards and reduce risks
• Benchmarking our security performance compared to the industry and implementation of best practices

What we expect

• Complete study in the field of occupational safety, engineering, environmental management or comparable qualification
• Multiannual experience in health & safety management at international level, ideally with leadership experience
• Knowledge of European occupational safety and safety guidelines (e.g. ISO 45001)
• Additional qualifications such as Sifa BG, NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent international certificates are desirable
• Impressed communication strength and consulting competence at all hierarchical levels
• Competence in the development and implementation of training
• Procuring German and English skills; Other languages are advantageous
• readiness to travel regularly within Europe
