Head of Construction Management & Technical Facility Management (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client, HAPEKO, the personnel consultancy for specialists and executives, is looking for an area management of construction management & technical facility management in a permanent position.

Our client is an economically successful company with a broad branch network and a high frequency in operation. The area of construction management and technical facility management is centrally organized and is responsible for construction, reconstruction and maintenance measures across several sites. The focus is on reliable project execution, low-impact operation of technical building equipment, and consistent compliance with budget, deadline and quality targets. The role works in close coordination with management and internal demand providers. External planners and service providers are controlled and developed along clear standards.

Then, as Head of Construction Management & Technical Facility Management, you design the construction and maintenance strategy and run a team with clarity, speed and sense of responsibility.

Technical and disciplinary management of the Construction Management and Technical Facility Management division, including target, resource planning and team development of a total of 70 employees further development of the building and maintenance strategy and ensuring implementation in line with corporate objectives, operational requirements and compliance Control of a project portfolio from new, re- and extensions as well as maintenance across multiple locations including quality, appointment and budget control Total responsibility for the area budget as well as overarching control and approval of project budgets, forecasts and deviation analyses Construction, standardization and continuous optimization of processes, guidelines and control instruments for building management, maintenance and technical building operations Establish and maintain a powerful network of planners, framework contractors and FM service providers including tendering, awarding and performance controlling Central interface to internal stakeholders and, if necessary, other companies of the group, including transparent reporting and resilient decision templates

Successfully completed studies in civil engineering, in architecture, in construction projects and Construction management or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional and management experience in building management and ideally additional practice in building operations or technical facility management Experience in controlling larger project portfolios or parallel construction programs, preferably in a multi-site environment Very good knowledge of project management and well-founded knowledge in building, procurement and contract law, e.g. VOB/B and HOAI Strategic and economic thinking, strong organisational strength and ability to clarify priorities even under time pressure Sovereign communication with management, internal demand providers and external partners as well as a cooperative, binding management style Safe handling of digital project and portfolio control tools, structured reporting and MS Office; readiness to travel
