As a process manager (all genders), you actively contribute to increasing and ensuring our warehouse processes in the new logistics center Gießen and analyze further optimization and improvement potentials with the help of static process tools. You work closely with different departments to ensure smooth processes and ensure that all processes are efficient and cost-effective. By implementing best practices and innovative solutions, you contribute to increasing productivity and continuously improving the quality of our services. In addition, you monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and create regular reports to document the progress of process optimization and support strategic decisions. Be there from the start! Initiate, tax and convert projects for process optimisation (Lean Management), taking into account the measurability by operating key figures that you can independently determine and evaluate

In cooperation with other departments and locations, responsible for the analysis, standardization and optimization of Warehouse processes

Conduct process analyses with the aim of optimizing work processes, work relationships and their instructions

Work safely with techniques and concepts of lean management such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work and know the basics of creating BPMNs (Business Process Models)

Keep training for new and existing processes and create SOPs

Professional experience in the described task field as well as experience in managing projects, ideally in the logistics environment is desirable

Knowledge of project management methods are desirable

Impressed analytical thinking and a good understanding with the ability to work quickly into complex topics

high problem-solving competence and strong communication with stakeholders

good knowledge of German and English

The 130,000 square meter logistics centre is operated by Zalando and is designed for up to 1,700 employees. From this location, 2026 customers in Germany and neighbouring markets will receive their packages from summer.

Our logistics staff ensure that more than 50 million Zalando customers receive their orders reliably every day in more than 25 European markets. Zalando now has a Europe-wide logistics network with twelve locations in seven countries. In Germany alone, around 6,000 employees from over 100 nations work on five Zalando logistics sites.
