Your duties The research group “Fluide” deals with the investigation of novel pressure fluids and tailored fluids, both analytical, experimental and simulative investigations being carried out in order to improve the understanding of the mechanisms and properties of fluids, to physically reflect the fluid behavior and to define the behaviour of tailored fluids by knowledge of the mechanisms of action. This also affects the consistent further development, as well as a radical rethinking of old-proven engineering solutions. In particular, your task is to be in dialogue with various companies and organisations in the field of sustainable lubricants. In addition to your scientific activities, you will organize workshops and maintain contacts with lubricant manufacturers and engineers to advance our common goal of defossifying lubricants. Within the scope of your activities, you will find a selection (!) of the following topics: Transition to sustainable fluids for defossilization fluid models Experimental determination of fluid properties Development and/or application of concentrated and distributed parametric simulation models (e.g. CFD, FEM, system simulation models) Development, design and commissioning of test stands Customised fluids General tasks as scientific staff include: Editing public and industrially funded projects Communication of research results and acquisitions of new projects Writing publications on research results, research applications and reports Support for teaching Support for student work and guidance of student assistants

Complete university studies (master or comparable) in the field of mechanical engineering, CES, electrical engineering, physics or computer science Knowledge of information and communication systems Programming or simulation skills Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering, construction and fluid technology desirable Structured work, creativity and interest in new topics
